Brother 88, a typewriter from Japan

The typewriter Brother 88, from 1966, is a portable typewriter with all the basic functions, a tabulator and a touch regulation.

Brother is a very big and old Japan company, it's not a very old producer of typewriters, but I think it has an interesting history.

Like many other typewriter's company, Brother started as a sewing machine factory in 1908.

It was based in Nagoya, a very big city in Japan. In Nagoya there are a lot of skyscrapers, a TV tower, and a big Legoland.

Brother entered the typewriter market very late, in 1960s years, and the typewriters of course were made for export.

It's a good typewriter, made of metal and with a good series of functions, the touch is still very good.
