Everest Z5 calculator (1952)

Everest Z5, an interesting Italian calculator.

The Everest Z5 calculator was produced by Serio, an Italian company based in Crema, northern Italy.

The Serio company began operations in the 1920s in some buildings previously used to make horseshoes, and began building gramophones, and then typewriters.

In the early 1940s, they began building these mechanical calculators of the "Z" series, and in 1952, this Z5 model was produced. It's a mechanical calculator, so all the internal parts are mechanical. No electronics.
