Typewriter Olympia Monica

An old typewriter Monica from 1927

This is a Monica Model 3 typewriter, should be from around 1927. It’s quite rare because only few of these has been produced.

It can be used both in the office and as a portable typewriter.

Probably it was named after the daughter, or the granddaughter of Ernst Pscherer, the producer of this typewriter. It already happened something similar with the typewriter Erika, that was named after the factory owner’s only granddaughter Hermine Marie Erika Naumann.

Not to be confused with the typewriter Olympia model Monica from 1972.
