Olivetti Lettera 32

This is a small portable Olivetti typewriter, the Lettera 32.

It comes in its own case, is very light and takes up little space. A portable typewriter, indeed. It's also an ultra-slim machine, just 9 cm high.

By the 1960s, the concept of portability had already taken hold, and the color was no longer the ubiquitous black, but other colors were also available.

The Lettera 32 was conceived as the successor to the very successful Lettera 22. It was also a huge success, and in addition to Italy, it was also produced in Mexico and Yugoslavia.

It's a very small but very complete typewriter, with standard keys such as uppercase and lowercase, margins, margin bypass, carriage movement key, one-step return, line spacing and line spacing selector, and automatic ribbon reversing.

It remained in production until 1977, so it had a long lifespan of 14 years, not bad for that period.
