Royal Arrow typewriter (1940)

Hello, this one is a typewriter Royal, model Arrow.

“Royal” is one of the oldest typewriter manufacturers. They introduced their first typewriter, the Royal 1, in 1906.

During Second World War “Royal” cut down civil production, and produced mainly for US Navy. They helped in war effort with the manufacturing of around 56,000 of these typewriters for US Navy.

This Arrow typewriter is in amazing shape. The casing is satin, and looks very nice, without rust, and the typewriter is perfectly working. The casing is in metal, very robust.

The keyboard has a Turkish layout.

Every button has a transparent cover with metal sides, very shiny, you can see the letters clearly. Also here there are very accurate details. As it often happened, you don’t have the 1 and the 0 on the keyboard and you have to use the “I” and “O” instead.
